Cyber Essential Partners are official providers of Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus Certification to our local businesses and charities.
Cyber Essentials helps you to guard against the most common cyber threats and demonstrate your commitment to cyber security which can often become a requirement when tendering for work in both public and private sectors..
Cyber Essentials is a simple but effective, Government backed scheme that will help you to protect your organisation, whatever its size, against a whole range of the most common cyber attacks.

TONY WOODHOUSE
Tony is the Service Delivery Manager at Solutions4iT, and has held the position for just over a year. Previously to this, Tony was the company’s Senior Technical and Cyber Security Engineer. Tony has over 20 years’ experience as an IT engineer and 5 of those have also been within the Cyber Security side of the business.
Tony has worked at Solutions4iT for over 8 years and in this time has progressed from a Level 2 helpdesk Technician to his current role. As the Service Delivery Manager, Tony’s role is to ensure that all customers get the same level of Customer Service no matter what their size. This is achieved by implementing good processes and procedures and ensuring that all staff follow them, whilst also identifying and rectifying any issues as quickly as possible.
JOHN DOUGLAS
John has been supporting the delivery of safe and reliable computer systems for over forty years. During that time he has been a programmer, system architect, a teacher in higher education, head of management services, product manager for a US west coast computer manufacturer, chief technology officer for a software company, head of the Midlands management consultancy practice of Ernst & Young and director of several companies.
John's skills are centred around the delivery of business advantage using information and communication technologies. His knowledge covers three principal areas: information systems security (cyber security), enterprise architectures and IT service management, all of which are required to deliver secure ICT systems.

GARY COLMAN
Gary has over 15 years experience within IT audit and assurance provision and currently manages the WMAS
Information Security & Assurance Service (ISAS) which delivers services to multiple public and private sector
clients.
Whilst the WMAS ISAS provides a wide range of IT governance and consultancy services, Gary specifically
undertakes technical IT security assurance work including cyber essentials assessments and penetration tests for national and local NHS organisations (including Health Education England), private sector healthcare providers and software developers, charitable organisations and local and national government.
Gary has presented at numerous national and local level events on the topics of IT assurance, cyber security and penetration testing. Key areas of expertise include IT audit & assurance, penetration testing, assessment services for both ISO27001 assessment and consultancy and Cyber Essentials assessment.
USMAN KHAN
Usman Khan is a Principal Security Consultant and the Director at IAP Consulting.
Usman has more than 15 years of experience in security architecture, risk management and security operations. He currently holds CISSP, CISM, SABSA, ISO 27001 LA, CCP SIRA and CCP IA Architect professional certifications alongside numerous technology vendor certifications.
CHRIS BLUNT
Chris has over 25 years of experience in I.T and has been running his own IT and Cyber security MSP for the last 15 years. He’s a licensed Cybersecurity Assessor, CISSP and CSTM Certified and is deeply passionate about promoting Cyber security best practice to SMBs in areas such as Professional Services, Charity, Manufacturing, Public Sector and retail. When not working, you’ll often find him out walking with his Border Collie or loosing golf balls on his local course.
Whilst working at Yahoo, Chris was part of the ‘Paranoids’, Yahoo’s volunteer security team, bringing all the knowledge and experience he picked up working for Global Giants, Chris channels this into his passion for helping SMB’s win by adopting best practice in IT and Cyber security.
